Engine Driver (Tugboat)
Job Description
? Responsible for the good efficient running condition and maintenance of the engines and all machineries;
? To attend to breakdowns and to provide prompt accurate feedback on repairs required;
? To maintain sufficient spares, tools and equipment for minor repairs;
? To keep daily records of fuel/oil consumptions;
? Conduct necessary checks on main engines, generator and steering system;
? Involvement in the maintenance and inspection services targeted as instructed by Management;
? Any other responsibilities as instructed by Management.
Requirements
? MPA Port Limit Second Class or equivalent;
? Preferably at least two years? experience in this field;
? Pass an approved eyesight test;
? Must have some experience/knowledge of engines and/or with electrical systems;
? Preferably have some basic knowledge workplace safety, work tools and some basic engine mechanics and electrical theory;
? Minimum Secondary education;
